What The Comic Strip is About

"Brother" is a family comic strip about two twin brothers, Harry and Frankie Messibo, who are different in many ways. Frankie would rather spend the evening studying for the upcoming science test, but Harry couldn't care less about it, and would spend the evening before the test playing videos games. Despite their many differences, Harry and Frankie have a similarity: the both like to fight with each other. This is a pain in the butt for their mother and father, Jane and Robert Messibo.

 

The Story Behind The Comic Strip

Before I started drawing "Brothers", I drew other strips such as "Gros Croc" (French for Big Chomp), and "Farmer Joe". Because I drew these strips so long ago, I have lost every single "Gros Croc" comic, and all I have left of "Farmer Joe" are a couple seven page books I drew in pencil. These strips were never posted online. Then, I settled on a strip called "Chef Noodle", or so I thought. (Check out Chef Noodle: www.fermeprejet.wixsite.com/chef-noodle-comics). I started the Chef Noodle Comics website March 22nd, 2018. After over two months of drawing this strip daily, I still had trouble inking the comic without messing up perfect circles. Plus, I had created the "Chef Noodle" characters years before I started posting comics online, so the drawing style was a little too simplistic.That's when I discovered many other drawing techniques which I couldn't apply to Chef Noodle, so I decided to start another strip. I randomly decided to make it about Brothers and Family, and that's what led me here to creating this website.
